The location here is stunning, with convenient access to a bus stop and a charming café called Petit Pain just a mile away.

The location was great - not far from many bars and pubs or a supermarket, pizzeria, and the bay. Furthermore, in a very cool neighborhood up in the hills above the city. We got a room with a walk-in shower. Enjoyed watching sea from the window.

I had COMFORTABLE days staying at this small hotel. The location was unique, because a bus stop was based close to the venue. The area was wonderful, an excellent home base for me.

What a hilarious time I had at the "party central" of the hotel! I stayed in a room with a balcony, where I could witness the lively city view while sipping my morning coffee. It was like having a front-row seat to a captivating circus, with the hustle and bustle of Rio de Janeiro unfolding right before my eyes. Trust me, the entertainment value was worth every penny!
Noisy neighbors during Brazilian celebration.

The guesthouse was located in a very cool neighborhood up in the hills above the city, providing fantastic views of the surroundings. It was conveniently close to a bus stop with frequent service, making it easy to explore the city. the staff was extremely helpful and willing to assist with anything we needed.
The Wi-Fi connection in the guesthouse was unreliable at times.

The view from Casa 48 Guesthouse was absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't get enough of the stunning landscape and the sunrise was simply unforgettable. The warm and friendly staff, especially Valentino and his brother Felix, made us feel right at home. They gave us great recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, and we loved being able to explore Santa Teresa on foot. Even though the guesthouse is not centrally located, the silence and beautiful view made it all worth it. we highly recommend staying at Casa 48 Guesthouse for an unforgettable experience.

The views from the rooftop were insane, I mean, we felt like we were on top of the world. The staff, especially Valentino, were so cool and helpful. They told us about this sick beach called Copacabana where we chilled all day and even joined a beach volleyball game. And the favela nearby was something else, so colorful and alive. We felt safe the whole time and had a blast exploring the vibrant streets.
The only downside, and this is just for hardcore party-animals like us, was that the hostel wasn't super close to the nightlife scene. We had to take a taxi or bus, and sometimes they were a bit unreliable.

We were awestruck by the stunning sunrise and the amazing vista from the veranda. The staff also recommended an incredible restaurant for us to try, which exceeded all expectations. Despite a few minor inconveniences like the lack of fans in the sitting room and the steep steps to the apartment, the overall experience was exceptional. The warm and friendly owners made us feel right at home, and the delicious breakfast added to the delightful atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this unique and beautiful place to others. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse for an unforgettable stay.

Amazing view, friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, delicious Caipirinhas at the bar, beautiful sunrise.

The staff was super cool and always had our backs. We had the sickest view of the city from the lounge, it was like being on top of the world. And let me tell you, the breakfast was fire - it fueled us up for our insane adventures to the Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. Best trip ever!
The only thing we wished for was a banging nightlife scene closer to the guesthouse. We're party animals and wanted to experience the wild side of Rio, but had to venture a bit far to find the wildest parties.

The views were insane, like seriously mind-blowing. We felt on top of the world, bro! And the staff was super chill, always hooking us up with the best tips for dope spots to hang out. We hit up the iconic Copacabana Beach and partied like there was no tomorrow at the legendary Lapa district. Living the dream, man!
If there's one thing we could've asked for, it would be more late-night party vibes at Casa 48. We love to turn up the volume and let loose, you know?

We definitely got great value for our money at Casa 48. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. The location was convenient, with a bus stop nearby to easily explore the city. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring we had all the information we needed for Carnival.
The morning meal could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.
